Rare photos of past events and people

Today marks the commemoration of the 70 years that have passed since the D-Day landings in Normandy, France.

On a day when history and past events should occupy at leat a moment of our busy lives, a series of rare photos come back from the past to remind us of some moments and people in history that should not be forgotten.
