Training camp in full throttle
As the Basketball World Cup is coming closer and closer things are heating up in USA's training camp. After last day's training everybody stopped and watched Kevin Durant, James Harden and Paul George playing “King of the Hill”.
The game is a one-on-one game played in three with each player trying to score on the other one until one gets five buckets. “At the end of the day, we're out here to get better. And there's no better guys for me to go against, for myself to guard than KD (Kevin Durant) and James. James is very quick and low to the ground and KD's got the length, so it's good for me,” said Paul George.
Since winning the Olympics in 2012, USA hasn't played any official game so coach Mike Krzyzewski has a tough mission picking the team that will leave for Spain. “We spent a lot of time trying to know the players. A big thing is their familiarity with me and the coaching staff. But we have actually gotten more in the first few days of the camp than in previous ones,” USA's head coach said.
