Investigation on sunken ferry disaster is extending
As the investigation is extending, authorities in South Korea searched the offices of the owner company of the Sewol ferry that sank on April 16 -Cheonghaejin Marine Co., and of 20 other affiliated organizations.
Searches were also conducted at the house of a billionaire whose family appears to control the company, Yoo Byung-eun, a controversial person known as the "millionaire with no face" because he infrequently makes public appearance.
Meanwhile, the death toll has grown to 169 and other 133 people from the ferry are still missing. Ferry captain Lee Joon-seok and eleven other crew members were arrested after the disaster.
The precise cause of the incident wasn't established yet while the hopes of finding any survivors are fading.
