A cargo plane belonging to Indian Air Force crashed!
Authorities said that an Indian air force cargo plane crashed during a routine training mission, today.
The defense ministry said in a statement that the C-130J Super Hercules went down 72 miles west of an air base in Gwalior, in the central state of Madhya Pradesh, an Air Force spokesman said.
A rescue operation is already on its way. The plane was a heavy lifter of a type made by U.S. Lockheed Martin Corp and it came down to the West of the city of Gwalior.
"It was not known how many people were on board" or if there are any survivors, the spokesman said.
The crash is under investigation.
