New Folk Art Museum to open in Queens

The American Folk Art Museum plans to open a subsidiary near the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center in Queens, for its collection and library. Director Anne Radice says that they “have just signed an agreement.”

After sellding their too expensive Midtown home in 2011, the museum limited its space to the Upper West Side on Lincoln Square. “Self-Taught Genius” show is due to open there on May 13 (open until August 17).
