Impressionist painter E. Charlton Fortune's "Hall of Flowers," 1915, sold to the highest bidder for $365,000 at California and Western Paintings auction, on April 8. Inspired by the creative atmosphere surrounding the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, the painting is considered to be a masterpiece, created at the peak of the painter's career.
