Westbrook to the rescue
Oklahoma City Thunder tied the series with San Antonio Spurs at two after snatching two consecutive games. It was Wesbrook's time to shine. The point guard scored 40 points in an impressive victory.
Westbrook was hot off the start, but almost all of the team was hot. Westbrook and Durant combined for 71 points, the second most by team mates this season's playoffs. OKC won three out of the four quarters for a 105 – 92 victory.
Westbrook had a double-double with 40 points and ten assists, but he was very active on the glass and in the defence snatching five rebounds and five steals. “Russell had a monster game. He has enough energy to play back to backs on the same night,” said Scott Brooks, OKC's coach.
The series between San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder is becoming more and more alike the same duel in the same stage in 2012. Back then, SAS took the first game and went on to lose the series 2-4. Game five will be player in San Antonio Spurs.
