Triple-double festival in Oklahoma
Oklahoma City Thunder tied the semifinal series with Los Angeles Clippers at two. Carried by NBA's new MVP, Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook, OKC took game two in style, 112 -101. The series will move to LA for the next two games.
Kevin Durant was awarded the 2013-2014 NBA MVP trophy in front of 18,200 people at the Chesapeake Energy Arena and he performed like a true MVP. “Durantula” took over the game and led the team to a five point lead at half time, 61-56.
The third quarter was eventually the one to establish the winner. OKC won the period 33-21 and went on to win game two of the series 112-101. Russel Westbrook was fantastic again. He had a triple-double with 31 points, 10 assists and ten rebounds. Durant came one assist shot of a triple-double as well. He had 32 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists.
In the Eastern Conference, Indiana pacers and Washington Wizards are tied at one. Top seeded Paces struggled again, but managed to snatch game two 86-82. The series will move to the capital city for the next two games.
