Tied at three

Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference and Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference are tied at three in the first round of the NBA playoffs. These two series are heading into a decisive game seven.

The biggest surprise of the playoffs is without a doubt Atlanta Hawks. The franchise in Georgia finished the regular season on the eight spot and took on the number one seed. The hawks even managed to lead 3-2. Last night, the Pacers managed to tie the series at three after a 95-88 win. Paul George and David West each had 24 points and managed to send the series into a decisive game seven that will take place back in Indiana.

On the other side of the continent, the Memphis Grizzlies are not backing down. Last night the Grizzlies lost game 6, at home, 84-104. After being called “Mr. Unreliable” by the media, Kevin Durant delivered another epic performance. 36 points and 10 rebounds for the MVP of the game. Game seven will take place in Oklahoma City.

Miami Heat and Washington Wizards are the only two teams already qualified into the second round of the NBA playoffs.
