Tied at one
Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat are tied at one in the Eastern Conference Final. Miami won game two last night, in Indiana 87-83 and the series will now move to South Florida for the next two scheduled games.
It was a balanced game until the end. Pacers took the first period by one, but lost the second quarter by five points. Lebron James & co took a four point advantage to the locker room, 41-37. Fueled by 18,100 people at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Arena, the Pacers snatched the third quarter 26-21, but it was still not enough. James took over the game in the last period and carried Miami to a 87-83 win.
The game recorded a record 21 lead changes between the two teams that were tied seven times. Lane Stephenson had 25 points, six rebounds and seven assists, but his effort was futile.
“I needed to do something in the fourth. I was able to get some good looks for guys in the third quarter but I needed to make a few buckets to help us in the final one and I was able to come through for us,” said Lebron James after the game.
