Tied at one in the Final
The San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat are tied at one in the NBA Finals. The reigning champions managed to snatch game two in San Antonio. The series will move to South Florida for the next two games.
Unlike the first two games between the two rivals, the second clash was marked by balance. The home team won the first period by seven points, but the Heat answered back and took the second quarter by the same margin.
The second half followed the same scenario. SAS won the third 35-34, but Lebron's performance in the final quarter brought Miami the win 98-96. Miami's star shined once again. James score 35 points and a perfect 4 out of 4 from three point land.
“We stopped moving the ball. We know how it works. We are playing a great team with great players and we have got to be close to perfection to win,” said Manu Ginobili who had 19 points.
Games three and four are scheduled Tuesday and Thursday in Miami. With the series tied at one, Game five became a certainty and it will go down on June 15 back in San Antonio.
