Thousands gathered to see 'La Roja' in Washington
The reigning World Champions opened their training session in US, while preparing for their last friendly game ahead of the World Cup debut. Hundreds of fans gathered in Washington to watch Xavi, Iniesta of Fabregas.
The Spaniards arrived in US earlier this week and had a few closes training session. Del Bosque is preparing his team for the last test before heading to Rio, against El Salvador. The game is scheduled on Saturday. The focus point is Spain's top scorer Diego Costa.
Atletico Madrid's forward has been receiving treatment for a hamstring injury, but Vicente del Bosque said he will test Costa against El Salvador a few minutes. He also said he made up his mind over nine out of the 11 starters in Spain's opener at the World Cup.
After their friendly test against El Salvador at FedEx Stadium on Saturday, Spain will leave the US for their base camp in Curibita Brazil to prepare their World Cup opener and at the same time 2010 World Cup Final rematch against the Netherlands.
