Spurs take the lead in the NBA Final

San Antonio Spurs lead the Miami Heat 2-1 in the NBA Final. The Texan based franchise won game three, in Miami by 19 points after a dazzling performance. San Antonio Spurs need two more victories to win the championship.

Everyone was taken by surprise at the American Airlines Arena downtown Miami by the Spurs. Gregg Pop's team took the first quarter by 16 points with an impressive 41 to 25. It was even worse at halftime for the home team because Spurs took with them a 21 points advantage to the lockers.

The champions tried to fight back and snatched the third period by ten points, but it was not enough. Spurs won the last one and the game 111-92 and secured a 2-1 lead before game four.

Spurs' Kawhi Leonard was the “go-to” guy. He scored a playoff career high with 29 points making him the most prolific scorer on court. “It's not something you plan for. There were no magic plays. We just moved the ball and every shot went in,” said Manu Ginobili after the game.

Game four of the NBA Final is scheduled tomorrow in Miami.
