Ryan Giggs takes charge of Manchester United

Ryan Giggs went from interim manager to official manager, taking charge of Manchester United starting with now.

The 40-years-old Welshman will lead United through the four season’s final Premier League games.

‘I am proud, I am happy and a little nervous,’ said Old Trafford club’s most decorated player, adding that ‘I have got to say it is the proudest moment of my life.’

Giggs is undoubtedly a Red to the bone, playing a record of 962 games for United. Now he hopes to successfully take the team through Saturday’s home Premier League match against Norwich city and then secure a Europa League place for the club next season.
