Pacquiao calls out Mayweather

Manny Pacquiao is calling out Floyd Mayweather jr. After beating Timothy Bradley and winning the WBO welterweight title, the Filipino boxer found the power to ask “Money” Mayweather jr. for a fight.

The Pacquiao – Mayweather fight is regarded as the biggest fight that never was in last decades. Both fighters were involved in talks, but their staff never agreed on a deal. Pacquiao said in a post Bradley match interview he would fight Mayweather anytime. “The line is open 24 hours, seven days a week. If he wants to fight, the fight will be on,” said the Pac-man.

Pacquiao and Mayweather are regarded as the best boxers of their generation and talks tied to a head to head bout date years back. However, Mayweather Promotions ans Pacquiao's camp never reached a deal because of Mayweather's insistence on a strict blood test programme on both sides during training camp.

The Pacquiao – Mayweather fight has to wait some more because the Filipino boxer is already set to fight later this year. He will meet the winner of the fight between Mike Alvarado and Juan Manuel Marquez. There is a 50 percent chance Pacquiao will fight Juan Manuel Marquez for a fifth time. The Filipino lost their last meeting after getting knocked out by Marquez.
