One victory for the semifinals
The Golden State Warriors and the LA Clippers are yet again tied in the Western Conference NBA playoff first round. The Californian team won game four 118-97 and leveled the tie at two. The team that gets four wins qualifies into the semifinals.
Driven by a crazy crowd at Oracle Arena, the Warriors won the first quarter of game four by a margin of 15 points, 39-24. They went on and won the second period to lead the game at half time, 66-48.
It was already over after 24 minutes. The two teams were tied in the third quarter and the Clippers couldn't do anything to avoid defeat in the final period. Warriors won Game 4 118-97 and leveled the first round playoff tie at two. The battle will now move one, once again, to Los Angeles for Game 5. “We moved the ball well, got some great screens and executed at a higher pace. When we do that it's very hard for the opposing team to defend well,” said Stephen Curry after the game.
Portland Trailblazers, Washington Wizards and Miami Heat can already feel the semifinals thin air. Blazers lead the duel with Houston Rockets 3-1, the Wizards have a 3-1 lead over the Chicago Bulls while the reigning champs, Mimi Heat is the only team involved in the playoffs that has not lost any game. Miami has a 3-0 advantage against Charlotte Bobcats.
