
'No contest' in San Antonio
San Antonio Spurs is one step closer to the NBA Final after winning game two against Oklahoma City Thunder. Tony Parker and Danny Green carried their team to a 35-point victory after a spectacular performance.
Down by one game, Oklahoma City Thunder came out to play in game two against the Spurs in San Antonio. Kevin Durant&co even managed to take the first period by two points 26-24. However, their joy lasted a bit over 15 minutes, because the Spurs took over the game.
Defending their home court advantage, San Antonio Spurs won the remaining three quarters by 16 points, 15 and 6 points for a 112-77 victory. It was the worst defeat for OKC in this season. Tony Parker was yet again the key. The French point guard scored 22 points and delivered 5 assists, but Danny Green was the spark. He shot 70 percent from three point landed and finished the game with 21 points.
“We are a much better team than we played tonight. We've got three or four days to figure it out. We've been in this point before. We don't want to be in this position, bet we are,” said Scott Brooks, OKC's coach. The series will move to Oklahoma City for the next two games.
