Milan - the European capital of basketball

Milano, Italy will become the home of European basketball for an entire weekend. FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, CSKA Moscow and Maccabi Electra will fight for the supreme trophy in continental basketball.

Both semifinals will be played on Friday. In the first one, Spanish arch-rivals, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will battle for a place in the final. It will be a last year's rematch. A year ago, Real Madrid won the semifinal 74-67 and went on to lose eventually the final to Olympiacos.

In the second semifinal, CSKA Moscow and Maccabi Electra will come face to face. The final will be played Saturday at Mediolanum Forum in Milan. The indoor sports arena has a seating capacity of 12,500 for basketball games. It is the home of Armani Jeans Milano basketball team.
