Injured Ronaldo watches his team draw in Valladolid

The chances of Real Madrid winning the title in La Liga dropped after last night's draw. Los blancos were held back by Real Valladolid to a 1-1 draw. Cristiano Ronaldo injured himself and was substituted after just eight minutes.

The hunt for the trophy in Spain looks to be over for Real Madrid. Ancheloti's team lost four points in the last two games. But the one last night shattered their championship hopes. Ancheloti's team had more opportunities, but failed to score again. Five minutes before the end Osorio headed the ball into the net after a corner kick and it was all over. Real Madrid packed up and left home with slim chances of winning the trophy.

With six points left to battle for, Real Madrid is down four on the third spot. Atletico leads the classification with 88 points with Barcelona trailing at 85 points. The two teams will meet in the final round at Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona.
