Hamilton lands a third consecutive win in the 2014 Chinese GP
Lewis Hamilton wins for a third consecutive time after a race where he dominated from start to finish.
Hamilton declared after the race that: ‘it feels incredible, it really does. I just have to shout out a big 'Thank you' to the team firstly for embracing me into the team last year and for all their hard work.’
He is now just four points behind Rosberg in the Driver’s World Championship, although the German from the Mercedes team closed the race on second place, overwhelmed by his teammate’s faster pace.
Fernando Alonso on the Ferrari team climbed the podium for the first time in this campaign, ending the race half a minute behind Hamilton’s Mercedes.
‘Mercedes look very dominant, they deserve first and second,’ said a humble Alonso after the race.
