'Fiesta' goes on in Madrid
Real Madrid fans and players can;t stop celebrating the Champions League victory. “Los blancos” won their tenth European Cup/Champions League and released madness on its side of the city.
The victory was massive for Real, but the party was even larger. Fans gathered at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid to cheer their idols, the teams and the trophy.
Tens of thousands of people awaited Ronaldo, Bale and the rest of the team to start the Spanish “fiesa”. On the other side of the city Atletico Madrid fans were disappointed after their team lost the trophy although led most of the game.
“It has been a very good first season for me here. It's exactly the reason why I moved to Real Madrid to win big trophies and we are going to enjoy now the victory. Out fans were incredible this night and all this season and we thank them for the massive support,” said Gareth Bale.
