European football is under Spanish domination

Spanish football proves once more that is has the toughest championship and teams in Europe. Sevilla won last night Europa League and the UEFA Champions League will also go to Spain with Atletico and Real Madrid fighting for it.

Sevilla is definitely Europa League specialists, while on the other side, Benfica could not break the curse. The Spaniards won the trophy at the penalty shots. After 120 minutes, the game was tied, 0-0.

It all came down to the goalkeepers. And it was Beto's time to shine. Sevilla's goalkeeper saved two penalty shots and basically won the trophy. This is the third Uefa/Europa League cup Sevilla wins in the last decade. On the other side, Benfica lost its second consecutive european cup. Last year, the Portuguese side was defeated by Chelsea.
