Brazil trashes Panama in a friendly
Brazil offered to their fanatic supporters just a hint of what's installed for them more than a month. Team “Celecao” turned a friendly game with Panama into a comfortable victory with four goals.
Barcelona's star Neymar jr. was the first to strike. His free kick was a masterpiece and went in despite McFarlane's best efforts. His team mate at FC Barcelona, Dani Alves doubled Brazil's advantage five minute before the break. Immediately after the break Brazil scored again thanks to a deadly Neymar – Hulk combination and Willian made it 4-0 midway through the second half. It was Brazil's last friendly before the start of the World Cup.
“It was a good test, a good friendly. We made mistakes at the beginning. I wouldn't say we were nervous, but the pitch was not in the best condition. It's normal that in a friendly vefore the World Cup you are going to make mistakes. After the initial 25 minutes we were back in the game and controlled the match,” said Hulk.
The home team is scheduled to open the final tournament on June 12 against Croatia.
