Away teams lead the NBA semifinals
Washington Wizards is no longer a surprise, but a certainty. After knocking out Chicago Bulls, the Wizards managed to put a charm on the first seeded Indiana Pacers. The Wizards won game one of the semifinal on the road and are unbeaten in the post regular season on foreign ground.
Although Indiana won the Easter Conference, everyone agrees the team struggles and it was obviously since the first quarter. Wizards got the first period by 13 points and let 56 – 43 at half time. The Wizards eventually won game one of the semifinal 102 – 96 and after four games on the road in the playoffs they are still unbeaten.
On the other side of the country, LA Clippers defeated Oklahoma City Thunder. It was all about Chris Paul. LA's shooting guard was the MVP of the game. He scored 32 points and delivered 10 assists. “CP3” was on fire from beyond the arc scoring eight times out of nine attempts.
Game one of the other two semifinals are scheduled for tonight. Portland Trail Blazers are heading to San Antonio to face the Spurs, while Brooklyn Nets will visit South Florida and the Miami Heat.
