Arsenal won the FA Cup after nine painstaking years

It took Arsenal nine years, nine years to win another domestic trophy, but they have finally did it. The gunners won the 2014 FA Cup after a stunning comeback in the final against Hull City, the reigning champions.

It is one of the most respected coaches in Europe and maybe the whole world, but Arsene Wenger had to wait 3,283 days to lift a cup above his shoulders. However, all odds were against Arsenal ten minutes into the game when Hull City was already two goals up. Chester scored first and Davies doubled Hull's advantage, and Steve Bruce was already thinking about a second cup in a row.

But the gunners did now step down, but decided to fight back and produces an epic comeback. Cazorla fueled all hopes with a magic free kick goal and Koscielny leveled the tie after 70 minutes, while Arsenal fans in the stands were going crazy. Hull's hopes for the win were shattered 20 minutes into the extra time after Ramsey scored and decided to keep the trophy in London.

Arsenal fans went out of the streets of the capital city to celebrate the victory along with their idols. The gunners had an opened double-decker bus that took them through the streets of London. Check out a few images from the celebration party:

Here are a few fun facts about how long Arsenal had to wait to win another trophy:
