4 wins in a row for Hamilton

Sunday marked a fourth consecutive win for Hamilton and the Mercedes team, the British driver finally taking over the lead from his teammate, Rosenberg, in Barcelona.

After maintaining the first position from pole to finish, Hamilton had only his teammate on his tail, during the final laps. However, he maintained his position and crossed the finish line by a mere 0.6 seconds in front of Rosenberg.

Hamilton is now in the lead of the Driver’s Championship, for the first time since 2012, and heads to Monaco with three points in advance.

The string of wins for the Mercedes team stands as evidence that the team is on its way to achieving a rare thing: Formula 1 perfection.
