Ukrainian minister fired for swearing Putin
Andriy Deshchytsia, the Ukrainian foreign minister, is set to be replaced after he deliberately made injurious comments about Russian President Vladimir Putin during a protest rally held in front of Russia’s embassy in Kiev.
The minister was sent to calm down the angry mob which gathered at the embassy to protest after a Ukrainian plane got shot down and all 49 government troops on board died.
Instead of calming people down, the minister began protesting himself and even shouted swear words to describe Vladimir Putin.
After Russia called on Kiev to dismiss the minister, the Ukrainian government announced that Deshchytsia might be replaced by Ukraine’s current ambassador in Berlin, Pavlo Klimkin.
