Xiaomi unveils its first 4K TV
The giant Chinese telecomm company Xiaomi released last year its first TV, now it looks like the electronics company wants into the business. Xiaomi unveiled today its first 4K TV and probably the cheapest one out there.
Xiaomi's new product comes with a built in Android OS. It also has a 1.4 GHz quad core processor and 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The TV also has a microSD card that will help any customer boost its capacity with 64 GB.
The 49 inch (125 cm) comes with a smart connectivity feature, a remote Bluetooth LE. There's even a remote application that can be installed on most smartphones that will allow anyone to control the TV with the voice.
The best thing about the 49 inch Xiaomi 4K TV is its price. The device will set anyone back 3,999 Chinese Yuan, about 640 US dollars or less than 500 euros. And with this price, Xiaomi's TV will trash any and every single 4K TV out there. However, officials at Xiaomi confirmed the set will be available in China starting from 27th of May, while availability for the rest of the world was not disclosed.
