Putin moves troops from Ukrainian border
In an unexpected move, Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his country's troops stationed near the Ukrainian border to return to their bases.
As spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, the troopd had completed an exercise and can now return: 'The troops were on a routine exercise that has now come to an end. The withdrawal has started, but could take some time to finish.'
NATO also commented that it has not seen any substantial movements among the Russian troops at the Ukrainian border and talked about previous so-called withdrawals that proved to be incorrect.
