Pervez Musharraf was indicted for high treason
Former Pakistani President, Pervez Musharraf, was formally indicted on Monday for high treason by a special tribunal, the first one in the country as a former head of the military.
Musharraf, age 70, was indicted for treason since he imposed a state of emergency and suspended the Constitution in 2007, during a hearing at the special court in Islamabad, the capital, according to an AFP journalist from the scene.
