
Manuel Valls's new Government structure
The Manuel Valls Government, the new French premier, presented on Wednesday, consists of 16 ministers, compared with the 38 ministers and delegates ministers from the last Executive, but is still to be completed next week with a number of state secretaries.
The French news agency presents the list of the new Government members:
•Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development
•Ségolène Royal: Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy
•Benoît Hamon: Minister of National Education, Higher Education and Research
•Christiane Taubira: Minister of Justice
•Michel Sapin: Minister of Finance and Public Account
•Arnaud Montebourg: Economy, Productive Recovery and Informatics Minister
•Marisol Touraine: Minister of Social Affairs
•François Rebsamen: Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue
•Jean-Yves Le Drian: Minister of Defence
•Bernard Cazeneuve: Minister of the Interior
•Najat Vallaud-Belkacem: Minister of Women's Rights, Youth and Sports
•Marylise Lebranchu: Minister of Decentralisation, State Reform and Public Service
•Aurélie Filippetti: Minister of Culture and Communications
•Stéphane Le Foll: Minister of Agriculture, agro-food and Forestry. He was also appointed as the government spokesman.
•Sylvia Pinel: Minister for Housing and Equal territories
•George Pau-Langevin: Minister for Overseas Territories
