New worlds tallest building to be constructed
The city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia will host the construction of the tallest buildings in the world, over 1,000 meters and 200 floors, a work whose cost is estimated at $1.2 billion.
The work to build Kingdom Tower will start later this month, on April 27 and the deadline for its completion is of 5 years, reports CNN.
Kingdom Tower Project, whose drawings were first made in 2008, will be conducted by architect Adrian Smith, known for creating the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the building measuring 828 meters, currently the largest building in the world.
The city of Jeddah has about five million inhabitants, has an opening at the Red Sea's largest port and the regional authorities are considering a project of $20 billion to develop a new neighborhood.
