Amazon, now available on Twitter
Amazon and Twitter, tech giants, want to make shopping easier for their clients.
With that purpose in mind, they have agreed to join and offer the public the possibility to synchronize their Amazon and Twitter accounts.
The result is that, when you see something on Twitter that you want to own, you can use a hashtag to save the item directly to your Amazon online basket and later on you can confirm and finalize the buying process.
What Amazon gains from this deal is obvious as it increases sales via social media but Twitter, on the other hand, does not receive any direct revenue from online sales.
One disadvantage of the whole operation is that everyone following you on Twitter will be able to see exactly what’s in your online shopping cart.
Although the option is only available in the UK and the US, other countries will soon follow suit.
