Amazon: best reputed company in US
Online retailer Amazon has the best reputation among large companies in the world. A survey released by Harris Poll Reputation Quotient revealed Amazon has outscored, yet again, names like Apple, Coca Cola or Microsoft.
Online retail giant took home the title for best reputed company for the second consecutive year in US. Amazon has been for a while a game changer when it comes to online retailing. The survey reveals Americans trust domestic companies but also a few Asian brands managed to breach the top ten.
Amazon was followed by Coca Cola and Apple, two distinct companies working in opposite markets. Almost all names that reached the top ten are leading the world in some way.
There were only three companies from outside the US to reach the top ten, Samsung, Sony and Honda. Samsung reached seventh spot. Along with Apple (3) these two brands lead the world when it comes to smartphone sells. Microsoft and Sony, ninth and tenth spots lead the world when it comes to gaming consoles.
Coca Cola is a world leading company when it comes to beverages and the only auto-moto company to clinch the top ten was Honda.
