OutRunner is ready to hit the track
Usain Bolt get ready to meet you maker! It's called the OutRunner and it's a robotic design with six legs that will outrun most amateurs and can be remotely controlled.
The OutRunner can run on various terrains such as asphalt, track, dirt or grass. It was designed with shock absorbers so small bumps represent no potential threat to the robotic wonder. The basic model, called the Core is half of meter tall and weighs about 1,5 kilograms. It can run up to 16 kph and its battery will last up to an hour.
The OutRunner Performance is slightly larger and can run two times faster. It also comes with an HD camera so it can record its...sprint. Connectivity will not by an issue because it has WiFi capabilities and it can be controlled with an app installed on a regular smartphone.
Kickstarter is now trying to raise 150,000 US dollars to fund mass production. Check out the OutRunner explained here:
