Leaked photos reveal Huawei's newest handset
Huawei launched its flagship, The Ascend P7 about a month ago in Paris, but it turns out, I will not be the company's flagship for long. Leaked photos and specs revealed Huawei is working on another top of the line device.
The device is called “Mulan” and it was caught while performing the AnTuTu benchmark test and allegedly it outperformed HTC's One M8 and the Samsung Galaxy S5. Checking out the specs would give the Mulan enough bragging rights that it could potentially outscore these tho premium sector smartphones.
Rumored specs say Huawei's Mulan would come with a 4.9 inch Full HD display and it will be powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 920 processor. It will also benefit 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and it will run the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Leaked photos suggest the design is similar to the Ascend P1 and has a very slim profile. It also shows the device will have a microUSB port on one of the sides as well as the lack of a dedicated camera key. The primary camera on this device would benefit the trusted and used 13 megapixel sensor and possibly a 5 megapixel camera on the front.
The handset scored an impressive 37,999 figure in AnTuTu 4, edging out HTC One M8 with 37,009 points and the Galaxy S5 with less than 37,000 points. Huawei has announced an official event on August 16 and there are some chances the “Mulan” could be revealed on that date.
