Leaked info reveals new things about LG's G3

Lg G2 smartphone was one of the best devices in 2013 and the best selling smartphone LG has ever produced. Now, its predecessor is highly anticipated. Despite having very tough competition, it looks like LG has a few aces up its sleeve.

It's not even sure the phone will be called “G3”, but if LG decides to follow the G2 legacy, it will probably be a wise choice. LG's new flagship will have to fight for supremacy with a lot of premium devices like Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, HTC One M8 and most probably a new iPhone. If the rumors are correct, it's ready to do that.

A few days ago, photos of the back of the phone leaked out. The odd thing about it was the gap on both sides of the camera. This suggest that the rear camera could benefit a dual flash. The current G2 has an LED flash located on one side of the main camera. It looks like the rear power and volume buttons will be making a return. Allegedly, the device will also feature a heart rate sensor just like the Galaxy S5 and a possible fingerprint scanner.

The most important feature for the most squeamish users will be the new display. The G3 will feature a 5.5 inch display (0.3 inch larger than the G2) and the story get's better. Its display will support a QHD resolution. 2,560 by 1,440 resolution with an eye-watering 534 pixels per inch. LG has confirmed the specs regarding the new display about two weeks ago, so their phone will trash most competitors.

There aren't any other information regarding its hardware and cameras, but there is still time left for enthusiasts to surf the Internet for leaked infos and photos. The official release date is 17 May.
