Huawei teams up with PSG to promote the brand
After launching their brand new flagship device in Paris, Huawei made a great marketing move. The Chinese manufacturer and Paris Saint-German, one of the biggest clubs in Europe became partners.
Huawei and PSG signed a partnership deal for three years. The third most prolific smartphone seller in the world will now supply PSG with the latest smartphones and gadgets. “We are delighted to have signed this partnership for the next three season with one of Europe's biggest football clubs. This strategic partnership will help develop the Huawei brand in France and in Europe and show consumers the latest uses and experiences available on our terminals,” said Song Kai, the general manager of Huawei France.
The partnership was carefully thought about and executed, but also very well synchronized. The Chinese telecom giant and electronics manufacturer unveiled a few day ago its new flagship smartphone, while Paris Saint-German won the Ligue 1 Championship for a second year in a row.
