Huawei launches the Ascend P7 in Paris
Galaxy S5, Xperia Z2 and One M8 meet your new rival! It's a Huawei and it's called the Ascend P7. It's basically the successor of the old P6. Huawei's new flagship device has everything a top of the line smartphone needs.
The Chinese device manufacturer has not revealed P7's specs, but they leaked out. The phone has moved up, just like every competitor on the market when it comes to size diplay. It will feature a 5 inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixel) display, a Kirin 910T quad-core processor (most probably running between 1.6 and 1.0 GHz) and 2 GB of RAM.
The phone will also run Android 4.4 KitKat. Internal storage is listed at 16 GB, but the smartphone will also have a microSD card to boost its storage. To be able to compete with other flagships out there, the P7 will also have 4G LTE connectivity capabilities.
Photo enthusiasts will love the phone. It will have a 13 Megapixel camera and a secondary 8 Megapixel front camera just great for taking selfies. Huawei confirmed the P7 will be powered by a 2,500 mAh battery. More on the Ascend P7 tomorrow after the official launch event set in Paris later today.
