G3's breakthroughs

The whole mobile world stopped for a while to witness the G3, maybe the most radical designs since the first iPhone. LG's design managed to set new records in a few domains such as display quality, camera capabilities and others.

When it comes to simple numbers, the G3 trashes any designs put there. It outmatches by far Samsung's Galaxy S5, any iPhone and even the mighty HTC One M8. The introduction of QHD display is a breakthrough and the tech world is wondering where is this going to take smartphones. The G3 was the first, but many will follow for sure.

Optic sensor with many mega pixels are not a new thing. Sony and Nokia have both been doing for a while, however, the G3 introduces a new Laser Auto Focus. “It is similar in terms of technology to the radar guns police officers use to measure car speeds,” described it James Marshall, head of Mobile Product Marketing at LG Electronics Europe. He even added that the camera focuses faster than a blink of an eye.
