Raw veggies are the secret of eternal youth
For many people, eating only veggies like wallnuts, seeds, fruits and vegetables doesn't sound too appealing. As much as healthy the vegan diet would be, people find it hard to stay away from meat, dairy and especially cooked meals.
Susan Reynolds is an exception, though. She's a business woman, 29 years old, and for her there's nothing tastier than raw veggies and fruits, plus the effect of her 7 years of diet without cooking meals is mind melting: she got used to be called a teenager, that's how young she looks!
A cold soup made out of spinach, a bunch of herbs and a whole lettuce is mostly what she cooks.
While she was a student, she used to order Chinese food. Then she also ate from McDonalds.
The spark got lighten while she was traveling in India for 6 months, when she started yoga. When she returned, Susan decided to become vegan and got prepared for becoming a yoga teacher.
Then she started a raw vegan diet. The advantages are huge: "mental clearity, positive thinking, health, glowing and ability to make choices", she explains.
Making green juices in a blender is among the healthy drinks she feeds herself with. She is trying to eat as many leaves as possible. Plus fruits, for energy and she gets her needed fats from seeds and coconut
Here's her daily schedule:
Waking up at 5 a.m. She drinks 750 ml of lime juice
6.30-8.30: Yoga exercises
10.00: A liter of green juice made from a lettuce, a handful of spinach and a bunch of herbs, all mixed together with a blender
11.00-16.00: Little snacks which include whole fruits (figs, mango and wallnuts), raw chocolate, green juice and raisins.
18.00: A huge salad or a green soup or any other raw meal made from fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds, accordingly to apetite or carvings.
