Monopoly brings Plaza-opoly to hotel guests

The makers of the best-selling board game worldwide will develop a version of Monopoly based on the iconic New York landmark, the Plaza hotel.

The setting of the game will be similar to that of Monopoly with the exception that, instead of acquiring avenues, players will purchase properties such as the Champagne Bar, the Fitzgerald Suite or the Grand Ballroom. Also, instead of going to jail, players will be sent to Hotel Security.

The Plaza hotel, with over 100 years of activity, has been the preferred lodgings of famous writers such as F. Scott Fitzgerald and has made an appearance in numerous Hollywood movies.
