Move to Spain if you want to live longer
The latest figures revealed by the World Health Organization say that Spanish women live longer than any other women in Europe. Men are also having long lives.
The Organization revealed that Spanish women live an average of 85.1 years. They are second only to their Japanese counterparts that live, on average 87 years. Third and fourth came women living in Switzerland and Singapore. The World Health Organization delivered good news for everyone. In recent years they have seen greater average longevity worldwide.
The same statistic noted that Spanish men live around 79 years. Only Iceland, Switzerland and Australia managed better figures with 81.2, 80.7 and 80.5 years. “Fewer men and women are dying before they get to their 60th birthday from heart disease and stroke. Richer countries have become better at monitoring and managing high blood pressure for example,” said Dr. Ties Boema, the Director of the Department of Health Statistics and Information Systems.
At the other end of the classification are African countries. Men and women live less than 55 years in Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Lesotho, Chad, Angola, Central African Republic, Cote d'Ivoire and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
