Cleaning means many things: cleaning up after a handy man worked for your house, spring cleaning, holiday cleaning, maintainance cleaning. Plus, there's also the house keeping, which is different from cleaning.

Cleaning up after a handy man. We're talking about the big cleaning made after we finished refurbishing the home, or even after finishing building one. That means taking out all the debris and rubish left, wiping surfaces of spots or paint.

For easing your activity and also doing it efficient and fast, while still doing the refurbishings and all the work needed, try to protect surfaces with scotch or with foil - the windows and the floor.

After you moved in a new house, you set up the furniture, the paintings and the curtains, there's a need for general cleaning, as a final touch.

Detailed cleaning has to be made considering the owner's preferences. At first, you might not have a clear idea about the perfect spot for each item, you can make changes according to how it's more handy for you. You can also change the organization of drawers, replace the armchair. This general cleaning is recommended to be done at least twice a year: during spring time and around fall.

The house keeping is a daily activity for a housewife, who takes care of everything the word "cleaning" means: washing, ironing, making everything sparkle.

The cleaning must be done in an organized manner: starting from above toward below. First priority are the bedrooms, then the bathrooms, then the livingroom and finally the kitchen. Gathering the dirty laundry, sorting what needs to be washed, accordingly - based on every clothes' texture.

Once a week, when changing the sheets and bed clothes, a "general cleaning" is required in the bedrooms, while dusting walls, wiping the windows and cleaning up the matresses. This can be demanded from the owner, as well.
