Jay-Z beat up by his wife's sister

Solange Knowles, Beyonce's sister, has been caught on the surveillance footage of an elevator while attacking her sister's husband, Jay-Z.

The assault took place in the Standard Hotel, in New York, during the Met gala party held last week.

Apparently a furious Solange was screaming, kicking Jay-Z and hitting him with her purse while Beyonce was standing aside and not getting involved.

Fortunately, a bodyguard intervened and brought the fight to an end.

The spark that lit the conflict is unclear but after leaving the hotel, Beyonce and Solange took off in a separate car from Jay-Z.
