'Homeless' Richard Gere

Richard Gere is really awesome at doing his job.

In his upcoming movie Time Out of Mind, Gere is impersonating a homeless man.

While playing his role last Tuesday in New York city, a tourist from France, Karine Gombeau, saw him searching in a trash can and offered him some pizza, thinking that the actor was an actual homeless man.

Gere stayed in his character and asked what's in the bag, and then said “Thank you so much. God bless you”.

The tourist didn't realize that she spoke to a celebrity until she saw her photo in the paper the next day.

"It was magical, I think he’s very handsome, even at his age. Pretty Woman was not my favorite movie, but really loved Chicago," she said.
