Amanda Bynes doesn't have schizophrenia
Lynn Bynes and her daughter's lawyer shattered the rumors which claim that actress Amanda Bynes is suffering from mental health issues, such as schizophrenia.
Amanda Bynes' personal wellbeing is improving fast.
She is on the road to recovery after coming out of a near-6 month stay at a rehabilitation clinic late last year.
Her mother insists her daughter was never treated for mental health issues, despite bad mouths saying so.
"Amanda has no mental illness whatsoever", Lynn Bynes has stated to E! News. "She has never been diagnosed as schizophrenic or bipolar".
She only had an erratic behaviour, posting several bizarre and insulting tweets, and an offense for tampering with physical evidence after throwing a bong out of her apartment window in NYC.
She was even arrested for setting fire to an elderly woman's driveway.
The reasons might be she was smoking too much pot, according to her mother. Amanda "is very sorry for all the hurtful tweets, statements and actions that occurred while she was under the influence of marijuana".
"There has been much speculation about Amanda's medical condition," her attorney told People magazine. "She asked me to dispel certain rumors. For the record, Amanda does not have schizophrenia, nor has she ever been diagnosed with it".
"Amanda currently is on zero medication", her lawyer continued. "She's devoted to living her life as healthy as possible. She's never had a history of abusing alcohol or hard drugs, and she's proud to say she's been marijuana-free for the past nine months".
Amanda Bynes enrolled into FIDM - the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, right after leaving the rehab. She recently posted several photos of herself, looking very healthy and happy, celebrating her birthday while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
