Scarlett Johansson takes Woody Allen's side!
Actress Scarlett Johansson considers to be "irresponsible" to come to a conclusion based on "guesswork" when it comes to taking in discussion Woody Allen's sex abuse allegations.
In February (14), Dylan Farrow, who is the adopted daughter of Woody Allen, first accused her foster dad in 1992, then repeatedly, suggested Allen sexually abused her when she was only seven years old.
The famous actor and director has repeatedly denied the allegations, and Johansson, who has worked with Allen on three of his movies, doesn't consider it fair to give her thoughts on a subject she is not aware of.
In an interview with the British newspaper The Guardian, she insists, "I think it's irresponsible to take a bunch of actors that will have a Google alert on and to suddenly throw their name into a situation that none of us could possibly knowingly comment on. That just feels irresponsible to me".
"It's not like this is somebody that's been prosecuted and found guilty of something, and you can then go, 'I don't support this lifestyle or whatever.' I mean, it's all guesswork."
