It's official: Aerosmith touring with Slash

Joe Perry posted a half minute clip on YouTube, confirming officially that Aerosmith and Slash would be touring together this summer.

The official name of the tour will be "Let Rock Rule".

Dates for the tour schedule are expected to be announced next Tuesday, April 8.

Meanwhile, Aerosmith continues to tour their 2012 album Music From Another Planet while Slash's latest, Apocalyptic Love, is still from two years ago.

In the clip, Joe Perry didn't mention anything about new Aerosmith work, but Slash has been in the studio recording a follow-up with lead singer Myles Kennedy, who also fronts Alter Bridge.
