Nokia and Microsoft seal the deal this week
April 25 is the date when Nokia’s handset business is to be officially owned by Microsoft.
Nokia and Microsoft agreed, in September, to close a 5.4 billion euro ($7.5 billion) deal but some setbacks were encountered as the waiting period was prolonged due to pending approvals.
Now that the deal obtained all the regulatory confirmations, the latest crucial one being this month from Chinese regulators, the two companies can proceed in finalizing the deal.
